TMD joint dysfunctions nowadays is very common among individuals but lack of awareness leads to avoidance of these problems. Temporomandibular joint is a joint that connects your jaw to the temporal bones of your skull, which are in front of each ear. It controls all your jaw movements be it moving up or down, right or left or any direction.

Problems with your jaw and the muscles in your face that control it are known as temporomandibular disorders (TMD). People also refer it to TMJ where J is basically a joint.

What Causes TMD?
